@maweezy is a beautiful Filipino cosplayer who boasts of 30k Instagram followers. There is no denying that she looks incredible as Valkyrie. If you look her up online, you will see that she also makes an amazing Bumblee, Buzz Lightyear, and Harley Quinn.
She even joined a panel discussion during the 2019 Awesome Con to talk about this topic: “Begin a Professional Cosplayer.” She was there with other cosplayers such as Lua Stardust, Mikal Mosley, and Maki Roll. They spoke about the difficulty of contract negotiation for various conventions since they are not seen as real talents but only as fillers. It takes a lot of work. On top of that, most of these people also have full-time jobs. Maweezy is actually a nurse!
