Samara Weaving was born on February 23, 1992 in Adelaide, South Australia. Having moved many times, subsequently moving to Singapore, Fiji, Indonesia and back to Australia with his family. She attended primary school in Jakarta, Indonesia, eventually attending Pittwater House School in Australia in 2004, and then Canberra Girls’ Grammar School.
First steps
The future actress spent a lot of time participating in short films, dance and stage shows. In 2008, she received the role of Kirsten Mulroney in the BBC series, Out of the Blue (2008). Although the series technically only lasted one season, it consisted of 129 episodes, with Samara appearing in 48 of them. This led to her next big appearance as Indy Walker in the Australian soap opera Home and Away (1988). She starred in more than 300 episodes in this series.
After leaving Home and Away (1988) in 2013, Samara landed her first feature role in Mystery Path (2013), which starred her famous uncle Hugo Weaving. From there, she starred in the 2015 TV movie Squirrel Boys (2015) and then starred in Monster Trucks (2016) alongside veteran actors such as Rob Lowe and Danny Glover.
