10 yoga asanas that are good for women’s health

2. Baddha Konasana – Butterfly Pose

To feel like a freely fluttering butterfly, sit on the floor, bring your feet together, and spread your knees to the sides. Lower them as low as possible to the floor. Don’t be discouraged if your feet are not touching the floor: put your hands on your knees and gently press on them, imitating the movements of the wings of a butterfly.

Effect: this asana can rightfully be considered one of the most “feminine”: it regulates the menstrual cycle, stimulates the uterus and helps facilitate the upcoming childbirth. The pose should also be performed for the prevention of varicose veins and for diseases of the genitourinary system.
