Actors Who Didn’t Want to Kiss Their Co-Stars

There were no explicit conflicts in this story, and throughout the filming, Toby and Kristen tried not to refuse scenes with kisses, except for one moment. We are talking about the famous scene when Spider-Man hangs upside down in the rain next to Mary Jane. It was pleasant to watch the development of the plot, sitting under a blanket, but the actors were not up to romance. 

In subsequent interviews, Toby admitted that it was simply impossible to come up with a more uncomfortable position for a kiss: “blood rushed to the head every now and then, and a powerful stream of water imitating rain flooded the nose.” So a lot of takes were spent on this shot and the nerves of the actors who begged to be written out of the film.
