He is always a naive and playful boy. Society could not tame him and land him. One of these was the great Mozart. Such people do difficult things with ease, and everything seems like a game to them.
Candide has a harmless baby charm and a subversive rogue charm. Women are attracted to him, like a magnet, on an unconscious level. It is impossible to be angry with him because he himself does not harbor anger at anyone.
