If you learned love from “female” novels and television series, it may seem that love must be shown on display, that men must admit it in public, with a fall on one knee, a ring in an elegant box, an orchestra under the windows of your apartment, singing serenades and other trappings of a soap opera or romantic comedy.
But in real life, love is not like that at all, is it? You yourself know this, no matter how many romantic comedies you revisit in your life.
In real life, love lies in the fact that you recognize the face of a loved one from a thousand, you know how his eyes light up when he is happy, you know how to touch him when he needs your support or wants you to madness, and how to overcome conflicts and life troubles together.
It doesn’t matter if you’re happily married or just starting out, if you’ve got a really good man, he deserves just as much happiness as you do. And if you want this, then:
1. Compliment him.
For some strange reason, most modern people think that only women like it when they are told that they look great, smell good, are very smart, or, say, look incredibly sexy. But … is it really so?
For most of my life, I have been convinced that men, by their very nature, are much more confident in their appearance and sex appeal than women. Yes, you yourself probably know this collective image of a “real man” who practically does not care what he is wearing, as long as it covers his nakedness, and who cuts his hair with an ax so that it does not get into his eyes – and does not care how they then look.
Well … if you think the same way and think that men do not care about their appearance, this is sheer nonsense! After talking with guys in adulthood, I can confidently say that I have never met a man who would absolutely not care if he seems attractive to a woman who likes him. So, when it seems to you that your man today is especially handsome and hot, do not be silent. He also likes to receive compliments from you.
It’s actually pretty simple: say nice things to him when they come into your head. Tell him that he looks very masculine and brutal when he puts on his old “rocker” leather jacket and worn jeans. Tell him that the smell of his cologne is going crazy when he hugs you. Don’t hold yourself back!
