Samuel L. Jackson refused to kiss anyone while working on the film adaptation of Stephen King’s novel Mobile Phone. As it turned out, the actor did not immediately pay attention to the fact that his character is gay. In the original script for Mobile Phone, there were several scenes where Jackson’s character hugs and kisses his lovers. Upon learning of this, Jackson asked to be removed from the script, citing the fact that he was not ready to get so close to other men even for the role.
