Was the original 1987 film Masters of the Universe starring Dolph Lundgren as Hi-Man popular? Not. So why did Sony decide to relaunch it?
The answer probably lies in the popularity of the animated series about the adventures of Prince Adam, who can transform into the mighty warrior Hi-Men. Curiously, the original film with Lundgren was not related to the animated series but was based on the Mattel toy series.
In the new world of Eternia, Noah Centineo will play the role of Hi-Man, while Aaron Nee and Adam Nee share the director’s chair.
